Sheridan Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 I've noticed we can only see the Update Manager tab in the vSphere client (running the appliance 6.5 as a VM) when we access it using the Flash option, not the HTML5 verion regardless of the browser. I've had a look around and I can't see anyway this can be enabled - we're using the VCSA Version 6.5 so the Update manager is built into it. Has anyone worked around this, as I'd rather use the html5 option!
Davit2005 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 I'd also be interested, I guess this is the partial functionality they are talking about :-( .
kmount Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Hi, I believe it's not yet ported over to the HTML5 vSphere Client - you can see the functionality updates here - https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.5/rn/vsphere-client-65-html5-functionality-support.html 2

The SRM plug-in has been web-only since version 5.8. With vSphere 6.0 Update 1, VUM also is fully available in the vSphere Web Client. Both plug-ins will be available in the HTML5 vSphere Client in the future. 1
Sheridan Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 Fair enough - as long as I'm not missing something obvious!
