Lead MIS Officer / BI Developer (SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) - South Essex * URGENT *

Up to £35,250 plus benefits - Permanent / Full Time

 

Our client, a college in South Essex are looking to recruit a BI Developer to join their Managing Information Systems team and lead the development and maintenance of all Business intelligence functionality.

 

As the Lead MIS Officer, you will generate reports and develop dashboards to prepare and monitor statutory returns and utilise data warehousing to ensure efficient access to data from various sources.

 

Your other main duties will include :

· Supporting and improving business processes using technology i.e. enrolment and applications.

· Design Business Intelligence dashboards using Dynistics.

· Pulling information from various systems for interactive and effective management reporting.

· Identifying and exploiting opportunities to use new, existing and emerging technologies for the distribution and collection of information.

 

As the ideal candidate, you will have :

 

· Worked in a similar role ideally within an FE or HE environment.

· Worked with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Integration Services.

· Worked with tables, views, functions, stored procedures and various other database objects.

· Experience using Dynistics.

· Up to date knowledge of the sector.

· Capable of learning new skills quickly and adapting to meet the needs of the business.

· Experience in developing web based applications is also highly desirable.
