Liberum problem

I am in the process of setting up liberum and have hit a problem when I go to try and configure the site. I can get the menu up but when I go and click on any of the links I get the following:

 

ERROR

Access denied You do not have permission to view this page.

 

I have had a look on the liberum forums but haven't found much.

I had this issue i solve it but allowing full access to the folders that libruim is store in and also to the folders where the database is store as well and then start to lock it back down after i had the site working.
