Projector mount and cage for Sports Hall

Hi guys,

 

I've got a decent used projector for our sports hall and am in the process of working out mounting it.

 

I've been in contact with RA technology who have suggested a cage and book arm which looks great but its topping £450.

 

Has anyone done something similar, the projector is a beast (CP-WX8255) so it need a decent size.

 

Suppose £450 isnt too bad to be safe but with budgets I could do with saving a few ££.

I have. Get something with fixed mounts. As soon a a ball hits it, it's going to get

Ours is 25ft up in the ceiling in the centre of the gym.

 

NOT fun going up scaffolding to get to it !!!!

You're putting a big, heavy lump above kids heads, in a place where it has huge potential to get knocked, and you want to save money on the mounting hardware?

 

Go cheap at your peril. Not just for having to go up a scaffold to re-adjust it, but for peace of mind that it won't fall on anyone's head.
