lhume Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Network Manager – East London - Permanent Up to £41,700 + benefits (free meals, use of gym, additional leave entitlement) ASAP start Our client, a large Academy in East London, are looking for an experienced Network Manager or aspiring Assistant Systems Manager to lead and manage the IT existing and stable IT provision, ensure all network technology and management complies with the schools safeguarding procedure, develop IT policies, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and manage the schools IT budget. You will be responsible for the line management of the Senior ICT Engineer, Premises & Exams helpdesk officer and Reprographics technician. Developing and implementing a strategic IT plan for the school in conjunction with the SLT, be responsible for all IT services and managing a whole school print management system (papercut) as well as other daily tasks. The IT department has a strong user facing ethos and the role requires someone who can equally manage server admin as well as provide face to face support to users to support teaching and learning Requirements; · Experience with operating systems and networking, including managing a complex network, setting up/managing servers and resolving failure problems. · Server hardware maintenance, housekeeping and daily backups. · IT Infrastructure security and implementation requirements. · Successful project management experience. · Wired/wireless network devices, network and data security, network infrastructure · Dell Servers, VMware, LGFL, HP Switching, Bromcom, 4matrix, Impero, Sage, iMACS · Microsoft Exchange Server, SQL Server, Windows Server 2008/2012, MAC OSX. · Previously worked in a senior, relevant position within the Education sector.
