Rob_D Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Sorry if this is the wrong forum, it seemed the best fit. One of our office printers (HP M602 Laserjet) keeps randomly printing jobs. It's a networked printer connected through our print server, and pushed out via GPO, and managed through Papercut. Recently it's started printing random jobs. Nothing's coming up on the Papercut logs, and when we look at the job long on the printer I get a bunch of "WSP-JOB-000100" Type entries from a "Guest" user. That line up with this printing. We're at a loss to work out what's going on, beyond it must be a device connecting directly to the printer via the IP address somehow. Thanks for any help.
DJ-1701 Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Just a silly question... has the printer has had AirPrint, ePrint and Bluetooth disabled? 1
Rob_D Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 As far as I can they're either turned off or not available on that printer. Looks like it's been tracked back to one of the Remote Desktop servers. Just need to work out how it got there.
