Data Flow Mapping website/tool

Hi guys,

 

I am looking to create how our data flows within our school and different department but I was wondering if anyone had a website or software which if not free doesn't cost a lot or maybe someone has template they be willing to share ?

 

Any help would be welcomed.

we use Visio with BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation) template. Might be overkill for most
