[ms office - 2016] Microsoft Word

Hi this happened to me a while ago and driving me mad. The side margin not there anymore and the cursor at the top which before the ruler on the side indent like the top.

 

Have I messed with template or something and how do I sort it. I want to fix it.

Do you have System Protection enabled?

 

 

Mine is disabled. If you have yours enabled you could restore your normal.dot to that from an earlier time.

Whoops. This is a Windows setting, and I really don't know my way around MACs.

 

I am sure that there will be another reply to this query soon.

 

In the meantime could you have someone send you a copy of a Word 2016 normal template? (I am on 2013)

Not sure I have anyone who can send it me unless I can find someone and then save and replace the file

Another thought: Could you backup your documents, uninstall and then re-install Word, or Office?

Tried that earlier today with word but the file still on the machine as soon opened it was doing the same thing

Seems to be the blank document template file that wrong/damaged
