[ipad] Apple Configurator Glitch?

We seem to be getting duplicate apps appearing in Configurator 2, but looking on the iPad itself, there is just the one copy.

 

Please see photos attached. One instance of the app has the VPP badge in the corner. Usually, both instances show the same version number, although the Aurasma app has different versions. All of the apps were downloaded from the VPP store when we made the switch from AC1 to AC2. The iPad was wiped before installing the apps.

 

A slightly different issue is that some apps that I remove are still showing. For example, in one of the photos attached it shows the 'NumberBonds' app and another instance of it above 'numberbonds'. This app was removed from the iPad using Configurator. Another example is 'Memory Block' which I removed but is still showing as 'simon'.

 

Very strange. Hopefully someone has a solution.

A simple reboot of Configurator has done the trick I think!

I am having this problem where I am restricting all system apps. When I prepare my device and apply my profile all apps are restricted but when the user first opens the iPad some of the system apps appear greyed out. When the ipad is connected to wifi the greyed out system apps install and disappear immediately once installed? No idea why they are there in the first place??? Any thought on this? This is driving me crazy.

It doesn't sound like that is related to my original post. Mine was fixed by a reboot of Configurator.

 

When the iPad is connected to WiFi and the system apps disappear, what's the problem? It sounds like you want the system apps to be inaccessible.
