Google Chrome & Printing

Morning All

 

I have recently been deploying centralised printing here at my school.

 

Few bumps.. however most now ironed out.

 

The last issue i am having now, however is with Google Chrome and its printer management. Google Chrome seems to pick what settings it likes for the printer (sets the DPI at 300, non duplex etc..) which is causing people to think that the printers are crap..

 

If they print from any other programme or ie.. it uses windows printer management and everything is fine..

 

So my questions are;

 

A: Can i get google Chrome print management to beep off.. and just use windows?

 

B: Get google chrome to pickup the printer settings from windows rather than telling me to beep off?

I saw this.. is this a registry entry i need to put in? Because i cant find that under the google chrome policies..

Ok.. do I put this under local machine or current user? Or both?
