Can someone just check my DNS Scavenging settings before I deploy

It's time to enable DNS Scavenging at a few of my primary schools. I have tested the following settings on my test system but would like another eye cast over them before I deploy to a live domain.

What I have done on my test server

 

Set static IP's in both DHCP and DNS for things I want to stay static.

 

DHCP is set to renew every 8 days

Scavenging for all Zones

In DNS / Server / properties - Enable Automatic scavenging of stale records and set No refresh to 4 days & refresh to 4

Scavenging for an individual Zone

In DNS / Server / Forward Lookup Zone / Domain / properties / ageing set No refresh to 4 days & refresh to 4

 

Does the above look OK?

Do I need to enable scavenging on both ‘all zones’ & individual zones or can I just use one or the other?

If someone could just answer the last question from my OP that would be great, I don't want to scavenge on zones that I should not be and can't find what I need in Google.

A colleague enabled scavenging here last week and I just discovered it removed the service record for the KMS server. Existing clients were OK since they have the KMS server cached, but newly imaged machines couldn't activate Windows or Office. Something to look at it if you use KMS activation via DNS discovery.
