Simcfc73 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Hi, Just finished watching a demo of GDPR in Schools, looks quite good and hopefully will do all the work for us (joking). The thing it missed out was the internal audit function that I noticed on the tabs. Thats an interesting one for us. Oh and the price I wonder if its GDPR compliant itself..
GrumbleDook Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Morning. We are always happy to get feedback and I’m sorry that the demo didn’t cover everything you wanted to see. I’m sure that we can go through it in more detail with you. If you can drop me or @Mel_GDPRiS a pm we would be happy to chat. The audit process also covers the process and questions you need to ask yourself as a school. We can do more to give you an overview of the audit and questions but we have to balance about sharing everything for free. As I said, we are happy to chat more.
5tu Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Can I add a question? Will the GDPR in Schools service support single sign-on via AD for teacher logins? We do this for all cloud services we subscribe to which overcomes the hurdle of staff disengagement due to forgotten passwords. Many thanks, and apologies for the thread hijack.
GrumbleDook Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 No problem. I believe this answer was sent out to another school yesterday as well. User creation and getting school staff signed in comes into its own around March time, as shown in the timeline we did. We have a number of options available but we haven’t made it available or really talked about it because of where it fits in the timeline. I’ll get the team to whip up some blurb over the next week. 1

No worries, I recieved a phone call outlining what I thought was missed out and I have a quote too 1
