Cisco Unified Wireless Network Software Release 7.0 for Cisco 4400 Series Wireless

Dear all,

 

My contract recently expired with CISCO but need a copy of the 7.0 software release. My 4404 WLC has a bug a need to sort this out ASAP. Please help if you can.

The only way to get this legitimately is to pay Cisco for it.

Not to contradict the mods @elsiegee40, but Cisco do have a policy of making some security fixes available without a contract if you can point to a valid Cisco security advisory. You may not get release 7.0, but if it's a security vulnerability, Cisco may make available a software release that has a fix included.

I've used this in the past for a customer who was woefully out of contract. You do have to do all the legwork proving your case with TAC, but it does work.

Fair enough. It’s legitimate as it’s via Cisco. It may be free which would be great.
