nicholab Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 I have added an SSD to an HP DC8300 and it will not image it is formatting the hard disk and then it is failing. Any suggestion how I can resolve this? The other machines have imaged fine with the same setup. I have tried AHCI mode and IDE mode?
Steve21 Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Assume it's got the same settings in the newer models but we has this when the raid was set to auto, had to fully disable it in the bios to get some to build Might be worth a shot Steve
LytchettNM Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Check bios for the version of OS you are trying to install. I had the same ish problem with some older server we have all 4 are the same spec, 3 would install and 1 would not until I updated its bios.
