Excel Mail Merge To Send A Unique File

Good Morning All,

 

Im trying to work out if this is even possible! and if it is how? so I'm trying to: Send a mail merge out with the following:

 

Email address

Body text

File (but the file is unique for each email address, its a PDF)

 

Any ideas? or sites to point me in the right direction?

In the past I've sent unique files to multiple users using Send-It-Quiet Command Line sendmail tool to send the emails and constructed the necessary commands in an excel spreadsheet and then just pasted it into the command line.

I've used the below 'Merge Tools Add-In' for Word 2016 in the past.

You can include the path of the document you want to attach as a merge field.

 

To make things even easier, you can use the same tool to create the attachments, merging each document to an individual PDF and setting the filename based on one of the merge fields. So you will already have a list of the filenames and won’t need to manually enter them.

Or if you want to go Google on it, Autocrat does this with Gmail and Docs. We use it to email personalised detention letters out twice a week!
