nicholab Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I have just installed SSDs in a HP Dc8300 an a number of them are giving ide failed error messages. Any suggestions? The Hdd was working fine before removal.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 We get this from time to time. It could be as simple as it not sitting perfectly in the caddy. What happens if you swap the caddy and ssd into a machine with no problems and move the good machines drive into the failing chassis?

If I get time I might try the new firmware.
