rrafluap Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Hi, I'm sure this will have been asked in the past but things may have changed... We have about 700 pupil accounts that were sent a confidential email by a member of staff. *face palm* Is there a way to remove the message automatically? I know with exchange I've run a PowerShell script that deleted a message for every user but wondered if there was an equivalent Google Script or similar way to do this? It would save me a massive amount of time (if SLT ask me to manually remove it) Thanks
FN-GM Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 (edited) I have never needed it in real life (only a matter of time), but tested it and it works. https://wpsit.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/delete-specific-email-using-gam.html credit to @rogerdnixon (I think) Edited October 23, 2017 by FN-GM 2
forkies Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 I guess technically the question would be, how do your remove it and see who has read the email? As soon that is the information you would need to fill in your data breach report with GDPR mandatory reporting.

forkies Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 GDPR doesn't apply yet. That’s why I said “would” and “soon” [emoji6] 1

The reports section in gsuite admin console will tell you who it is sent to and whether the email was opened. Edited October 24, 2017 by mjk 1
rrafluap Posted October 24, 2017 Author Posted October 24, 2017 The reports section in gsuite admin console will tell you who it is sent to and whether the email was opened. The admin console cuts this off after 30 days so didnt work for me. Got a CSV from Vault by searching unread and read tags though so got it in the end! Thanks
