Software Restriction, Spotify, and Path Rules

Hi All,

 

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here:

 

 

If I remove the top rule (blocking %appdata%) Spotify works fine. But if I put it back it stops working.

 

To quote Microsoft Technet article:

 

Path rule precedence: When there are multiple matching path rules, the most specific matching rule takes precedence.

 

So, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The more specific 'unrestricted' rule should be overriding the %appdata% rule but it doesn't.

 

Any ideas?

Not to worry. I got it working. Looks like it was to do with launching the program from a shortcut that caused the issue.
