Hello all,

im looking for some software to output different videos to different displays.

For example, I may want to save a preset which at the push of a button sends certain videos to specified displays, and then have another preset to send different videos.

We have the hardware (quad head graphics card which is outputting to the projectors), just looking for ideas of software to achieve my goal. Hope that makes sense? Running Windows.

thanks

If you use VLC you can specify the display it opens in as part of a command line, no doubt others can too but that should do what you want really. Tick the fullscreen settings, then when you run the commands just change it each display etc

Great thank you, i'll have a look at VLC.

Just found this old thread on here too

with a few suggestions.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Have a look at ScreenMonkey, may do what you want. Otherwise I'd suggest something more media server based (1 PC per display) using software like Chamsys (free!).
