[ms office - 2016] Office Bandwidth Hog

So, i think i've found our bandwidth hog and it's pointing to Office, infact, its pointing to https://omextemplates.content.office.net/. After blocking this URL via the smoothwall in HTTP and HTTPS, our traffic is very very low indeed.

 

https://omextemplates.content.office.net/ is the templates that appear in office and it would indicate that when a user logs in and opens Word, Excel or powerpoint, they pull down all the templates.

 

I've got this URL restricted to 32kbyte/s which equals 0.25mbps shared between clients.

 

Is there a way to download these templates and use them as part of the image so we can completely disable this URL from in side the network?
