Office 365 booking and timetable dilemma

Hi all,

 

Must admit I’m inexperienced and may have jumped the gun without planning this one !

 

I have purchased Salamander, mainly to pull timetable data off so we can replace the old booking system on our aging Frog VLE

 

We are using

 

SIMS

Office 365

 

We have 3 sets of iPads, 2 ICT rooms and 3 conf rooms

 

Salamander can inject individual timetables to user’s outlook calendar

 

Problem is I can’t picture how this would work smoothly ... I presume I create resource accounts (iPads, ICT room) and then users book this through their own Outlook calendar, picking the resource as if booking a meeting?

 

I am trying out School Cloud Systens ‘Room Booking Systens’ which is perfect for booking but not designed to display timetables in Outlook calendars for staff or students

 

Scratch my head.. but need to make a decision quick in case I need to delay or cancel my Salamander install... ideas anyone ?
