techie17 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 We have two sites connected using Sophos UTMs (using a VPN connection) and users at the remote site often experience printers going offline and the only way to fix this is to restart their laptops. Printers are deployed using AD, are on a print server at the main site and DHCP at the remote site is done by the UTM itself. The printers go offline for random users (not all at the same time) about twice a day. When they are at the main site on the main network, its fine. Really stuck on this one as they can log in fine and still get internet at the remote site when they go offline. Thanks
sted Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 by offline do you just mean as printers can you still ping them/get to the web interface? if so ive seen poor snmp implementations cause this try disabling it on the printer/driver settings
