Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say that it's been a pleasant experience to work with the updated Aruba/HPE web management interface on our switches today. It's very modern web dashboard type style, but it's a damn sight better than the older HP web interface that was eye wateringly ugly in every browser. The even older Java based interface on the 2610's, 2900's etc was nice, though using it in a browser these days is hard due to the Java dependency (Java! Spit!)

I've slowly been retiring 2610's due to ours being not POE capable. Initially I went to 2620's, but now I've jumped to 2530 and now the 2540. HPE/Aruba seemed to make a whole lot of switches in a short period before finally coming to their senses and culling some of the line up so that it makes sense again. Too much overlap there by far I reckon. The sad part is that apart from the web interface, there's nothing wrong with the 2610's that I can see, still excellent switches. They just keep chugging along really and it feels like a bit of a waste to me that they are being put out to pasture so to speak.
