[sims] Pre-School MIS

[Edu-IT]

Does anyone here have a pre-school as part of their school and if so, any suggestions for management software? (Funding, Invoices, Registers etc?)

We use http://www.superfox.org.uk

We actually bought it for our out of school club - but it performs all the same functions.

It's not fancy, but seems straightforward to use. The main downside is that it's not designed for a network environment, so you can have multiple users on a single PC all accessing the database, but you can't put the database file on a server and access it from multiple clients. I did speak to the developer and he said it was because it was aimed at settings running on a very small budget and not many of them had servers which seems familiar.

The main attraction is simplicity and price.
