steven_layton_sl Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Hi Guys We're having some problems with our Vivo Miles XPorter tool, where it won't connect and upload the new Year 7s. It seems they no longer have a support telephone number, that enables you to talk to a human (or at least, not one that I can find). Instead it seems that all support is sought via email. This has let me down a couple of times, with my support request not progressing. I don't support anyone has a telephone number that will let me speak with a person?
Steve21 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 T. +44 (0) 20 7025 6133 Is one off an old email, but is a few years ago as we dropped the service. So no idea what you were using/trying before Steve
steven_layton_sl Posted September 18, 2017 Author Posted September 18, 2017 Thanks - but that number is no longer in service. Sigh.
Steve21 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Again no idea if you can actually get support via it but their HQ one was: 0800 043 8486 Steve

rubyport Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 0800 043 8486 is one I have, also from an old email but as you say it directs all requests back to email or website. I am growing increasingly concerned about Vivo. We have been asking for months for vouchers to be restocked but they only seem to put a very small amount of them in. They also do not respond to support requests. I have two awaiting response from two weeks ago. Strangely the managing director called me last term to assure me that they had just had a busy season, were a small team and were working flat out. Since we invest about £5000 a year with them on average, and I know other schools in the area do, this rang alarm bells. So much so that last week I looked up their financial records. They did not make happy reading. Our financial director agreed after he had got the report from Company House. With regard to the xporter tool if it is Groupcall their helpline is useful. If you are exporting from SIMs and are supported by Scomis, then Scomis can usually contact Groupcall to help.
steven_layton_sl Posted September 28, 2017 Author Posted September 28, 2017 In the end, I managed to get in contact (via the email support) with someone called Gemma, who became my point of contact. After also spending some time with the XPorter guys (which Vivos uses) we eventually determined that the issue was that Vivo had provided me with the wrong logon credentials. Once they changed the credentials they'd given me, to their own back end, everything sprang to life. While Gemma was great, I'm not overly happy with their method of support, and not providing a telephone number to be able to speak to an actual person.
