Web Development Manager (Java,VB,HTML,ASP,C#) – West London * URGENT *

Up to £45,000 depending on experience

Our client, an independent school in West London, have an urgent requirement for a Web Development Manager to join their IT Team, as the school expands its use of digital technologies and are committed to exploiting the learning potential of digital applications and resources.

 

As the Web Development Manager, you will be an integral member of the IT Department, providing essential support to the team, the school and its systems.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Develop the schools intranet and VLE (via FireFly).

· Develop the schools external website.

· Support users with Google Apps for Education.

· Support Chromebooks via Google Admin console.

· Administrate Microsoft Azure, Office365, Parent Portal (My School Portal).

· Backups and archiving of all digital content.

· Ensuring all current and planned web-based technologies remain fully operational.

 

 

Requirements:

 

· A degree or equivalent in a computer related subject.

· Previously managed a content management system (i.e. FireFly).

· Office 365, Google Apps for Education, Google’s Admin Console, Cloud Services (ie: Azure).

· Ability to develop and manage new projects throughout the school.

· ASP & ASP.net.

· Basic knowledge of C/C#/Visual Basic, SQL.

· Basic knowledge Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server and client software.

· IIS & Web Server technologies.

· HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and general scripting.

· Understanding of Film and Media software/hardware.

· Understanding of Multimedia Copyright and Licensing.

· Flexible working approach and willing to work outside of core hours if required.
