Cache Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Hi all I've had an issue this morning where the old dns name of the proxy has been removed and Office 365 failed to sync for over 24 hours. I can't however find where it is storing the old dns name at, I've checked the registry and found one reference to it there which I've updated but no other references. This machine was updated from DirSync to AzureADConnect so assume that is where it brought the old proxy across. I've temporarily fixed it by putting a DNS alias in place, however would like to update the proxy server address if I can. Anyone have any hints as to where it might be getting stored? Thanks
zoohead Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 I had the same issue after we changed to transparent proxy. I found some info online on how to edit a file in .net which was supposed to fix it but did not. In the end I just installed it on another machine and it is working fine. Ian 1
Matt_Renato Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Have a look at this and see if it helps https://blog.kloud.com.au/2016/05/24/configuring-proxy-for-azure-ad-connect-v1-1-105-0-and-above/ 1
Cache Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 Thanks @zoohead, think that might be my next step. Tried that @Matt_Renato, it still tries to use the old one.
