angrycomputingteacher Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Hello, One of the really annoying things that I can't seem to get fixed is that I want to hide all of the Public Desktop icons and just display the ones I have set in Group Policy. I've tried creating a script in batch but it doesn't seem to work. Also, I've tried removing the folder in Group Policy but that also seems to get me nowhere. Any ideas?
NB9457 Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 You can use the "Remove common program groups from Start Menu" and that should do it, but you would also need a redirected Start Menu too. Also, have you tried "Delete all files in the folder" instead or simply just not ticking any of the boxes so then it should delete the folder?
angrycomputingteacher Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 That seems to have fixed it. Thank you
