CumbrianMan Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Hi all Creating a new W10 image on a VM to push out via SCCM to all pcs, however when I launch SUP2017 on the VM (and subsequent test pc which I have downloaded to) I get the message as per attached - SketchUp2016 worked fine, no problems so can't really think its a graphics hardware acceleration issue. Have also tried running in compatibility modes but still no luck. Anyone had same issues or got any idea? As ever, any help is greatly appreciated. Regards Alan
Arthur Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 SketchUp2016 worked fine, no problems so can't really think its a graphics hardware acceleration issue. It is unfortunately. Trimble increased the minimum system requirements for the 2017 version. https://help.sketchup.com/en/article/36208 1
CumbrianMan Posted August 16, 2017 Author Posted August 16, 2017 Thanks Arthur! Just have to go for 2016 again then seeing our pc's are getting a bit old! Same old story for most of us, no money to upgrade!! Cheers Alan
Parm79 Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 I had this error ended up updating bios and graphic drivers to the latest and greatest and it seemed to fix on dell laptops.... worth a try
Parm79 Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 From what I remember I had to install the latest Intel driver from the Intel site rather than the one from the dell site which came up with an error installing which I had to Google to get installed on the laptops. 1
