SIMS homepage 'my timeline' view - no classes in new academic year

Hi, I have exported the new timetable to SIMS. I have mapped the pastoral promotion, and performed academic promotion. My new timetable can be viewed in my staff details view, but I can't see my new timetable in the 'my timeline' view on the SIMS homepage, even when I change the date using the 'go to date' option. When will I be able to see this working? It's my first time creating a timetable and I want to make sure all is OK at the earliest possible opportunity. Thanks for reading.

Have you applied the timetable (Tools / Academic Management / Apply Timetable)?

Ah, no, thanks. When should I do this? What is the danger if this is done too early?

Do this whenever you like, it links the timetable to the calendar and allows anything that needs a given date to work, the timeline for instance.

I don't know of an issue with applying this "too early"; I do mine as soon as the timetabler has sent across the first version.
