Digital Learning Platform Manager – West Hertfordshire

£40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits incl. pension, staff lunch, free parking, 25 days hols + bank hols.

Our client, a large independent day and boarding school on the western edge of Hertfordshire, are currently looking for a Digital Learning Platform Manager to lead, develop and manage their digital learning platform.

 

As the Digital Learning Platform (DLP) Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development and integration of technologies that encompass the Digital Learning Platform.

You will also monitor, assess and evaluate the impact the DLP has across all areas of the school including teachers, staff, students, parents and governors.

 

 

Responsibilities :

 

· Project manage the implementation of FireFly

· Manage the transition from Exchange and Google Apps for Education to Office365

· Provide training and support to teachers and staff to support DLP adoption

· Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritise DLP development

· Create/contribute to an annual development plan of improvements

· Identify, procure and develop software applications and services

· Provide technical escalation and support including FireFly and Office365

· Develop internal processes and procedures for all software development activities

 

 

Requirements :

 

· Project management experience

· SQL server and database information extraction

· Technically aware with a broad knowledge of IT and its application across the organisation

· Previously worked within the education sector

 

Desirable knowledge :

 

· Prince 2 Foundation or Practitioner, Agile or SCRUM Master

· Administration and customisation of Firefly and iSAMS
