Badaz52 Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 Hi all, We are rolling out Windows 10 64 Bit Education 1607 this Summer and I'm having some issues with drivers particularly on some of our older devices. Sometimes after imaging if I leave the machine long enough it will pick up the correct video driver and everything is good but on some devices it doesn't do this and I have to put a proxy in and search online for drivers. These always install OK but it isn't very practical when doing a large number of images. I thought I might download the drivers and put them into WDS like I did with Windows 7 but the vendors don't openly have a driver for Windows 10 and certainly not a 64 bit one although windows update does. Is there anyway around this?
sted Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 id seriously look at mdt rather than just wds but try installing the win7 drivers manually on a pc i bet they work if so add them to your wds image 1
Rob_D Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 What sted said. Just use DriverBackup! or something to get the drivers off a working PC and load them into WDS/MDT.
