Apple VPP/Apple Classroom

When i first set this up at a school a few years ago you needed and "apple" account and a separate account for VPP.

 

I'm trying to set a new school up for VPP which has made me setup an apple school manager account, do I still need a separate VPP account? everything I've read online suggests that older schools that have a VPP account upgrade to an apple schools manager account.

 

I feel that I've thoroughly confused myself.....

Turns out you now just sign up for a apple schools account.. and you use the same account for VPP - simples!

Yes, an apple school manager account merges DEP and VPP.
