Olliesaurus Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Basically I have inherited the wonkiest SIMS migration ever, duplicate SIMS folders everywhere. Is there any safe way to clear up the SIMS share at all?
vikpaw Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 It's difficult. I remember doing a clean install and still keeping a lot of the old guff - just in case. Take a look at the created, modified and last used dates. This will help. Then rather than delete, just move stuff and see if anything breaks. Most of it is not required day to day, certain folders with templates are needed, and processes for Data In, Data Out, B2B, Nova / Timetable. A lot of the other stuff is legacy and you should find it hasn't been used much. Even the setups folder is really required. If you do a clean install with the installable ISO, the setups folder would just include the core required files and then additionals as you upgrade. Now with SOLUS3 you probably don't need it much at all.
