Arthur Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Nice! Download (Google Play Store) This application allows users to mount an SMB file share in their Downloads/Files app in Android. That way, users can access their remote files seamlessly from their Android devices, opening, modifying, and deleting them. This application is a direct port of Samba client which can be found at https://samba.org. As such, it supports the entire feature supported by Samba client. This application is open-sourced under the GNU General Public License. The full source can be found at https://github.com/google/samba-documents-provider. 1
Arthur Posted July 7, 2017 Author Posted July 7, 2017 Apparently this app only supports smb1 at the moment (which is a bit stupid in light of recent events). https://github.com/google/samba-documents-provider/issues/7 Need to modify the configuration file to allow SMB2 & SMB3. For some reason libsmbclient out of the box uses maximum SMB1 protocol.
