Hello All,

I liked the old office 365 Video library, it does what I need it to do

Been looking at the new Office 365 Stream video library. I like some of the features but I’m now disabling it on my tenant.

At present I have stopped all staff and students from creating groups, tenant wide. The kids found out that creating groups was great fun and they started causing chaos.

The groups were mail-enabled with ‘conversations, calendars, files and notebooks’

Office 365 Stream works with groups for permissions.

As a Stream Admin you can stop people from creating ‘Channels’ but you can’t stop them from creating ‘groups’

So signed into office 365 as student or staff, then click the ‘People’ app, users can’t create groups.

But go into the Stream App you can create a group, add anyone to it (staff and or students).

Then go back into the ‘people App’ and happily start using your new group (with conversations, calendars, files and notebooks’) causing chaos again.

Don’t know if this makes sense but am I missing something with this?
