spacehopper Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 the powers above would like to disable including the original message when replying to an email in office365. one of the SLT says this was disabled at his old school.. I can change the settings for individual users when they are logged on themselves.. but is there a way to do it for everyone in the organisation through the admin panel? I havent been able to find anything yet... We use office365 E3 and everything is hosted with microsoft.. (we dont use exchange) users access their email through web browsers not outlook. thanks in advance for any answers!
Michael Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 You can with Outlook 2016, but, you're just as well to start a new e-mail. Would be more straight forward I'd have thought? Not sure it's possible with OWA.
spacehopper Posted July 3, 2017 Author Posted July 3, 2017 straight forward and SLT don't often go together well.. The idea is it will stop 'potentially sensitive' emails being forwarded to the wrong person by mistake.. I have the feeling that this has already happened to someone and they are now trying to shut the door after the horse has bolted.. I agree it makes much more sense to start a new email.. or just to check the contents of emails before replying /forwarding / sending.
