Hi all,

I just wanted to check on this as I am planning on re-imaging all the PCs in the school over the hols.

Whenever I re-image a PC, (even just 1), it slows the network down and the WDS server until I can delete the job from multicast transmissions in WDS.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Sean

What did you set the bandwidth too ? (eg 10/100/1000)

How much bandwidth do you have on your uplinks between switches ?

Also, do you have IGMP turned on for your switches ?

Is the WDS the same as the DC or file server.

I had the same issue, all virtual on one server at the time until i got the other servers installed(2 weeks to reinstall the entire network so no time, removing VDIs).

I had the same issue, even installing 1 killed everything, its like it has a higher priority on data access.

Moved the virtual using the failover method (Love this) and installed 6 laptops together yesterday and everything was fine.

Just thought of this

Limit the bandwidth, going to do it to mine now.
