[ms office - 2016] Office 2016 - App-V Has anyone managed it?

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to create a App-V package of Office 2016 but having no luck at all. I'm following this guide:

I managed to create an App-V package on the first go, but it won't import saying there's something wrong with the file. So I thought I'd try and re-create it, but every time I do it fails with the following:

I've re-imaged the machine multiple times to make sure no hang overs are left from the original attempt but get the same error.

 

Anyone managed to App-V Office 2016? Can you help? Does your App-V package activate via KMS?

 

What I'm trying to do is move all software to App-V so I only have a clean Windows 10 image to deploy. No locally installed software. Well, that's the hope.

Anyone managed to App-V Office 2016?

I have managed it in the past, but after Microsoft updated the ODT and blocked people from creating App-V packages for the volume licensed version of Office 2016 ProPlus I was forced to deploy the MSI.

It's a shame they did this because the App-V version of Office is easier to update.
