Senior IT Technician - Required for August 2017

Subject to a 6 month probationary period

 

In September 2017, one of the largest alternative provision free schools in the country is planned to open in Leeds. Part of the high performing GORSE Academies Trust, The Stephen Longfellow Academy will change the face of alternative provision education in Leeds, whilst at the same time changing the life chances of thousands of children in our city for ever.

 

The Stephen Longfellow Academy, will over time provide, 300 places spread evenly across Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 with a determination to combine exceptional standards of therapeutic and psychiatric support with the very highest levels of academic ambition for every child. It is the Trust’s intention to look afresh at the whole concept of alternative provision and to establish a model of excellence which we believe will be of national significance.

 

We seek to appoint a driven, highly skilled and customer focussed IT professional for the role of Senior IT Technician. The successful candidate will take a very committed stance on ensuring that IT Services are safe, secure, and robust, whilst maintaining flexible, friendly and strong working relationships with all stakeholders. The Stephen Longfellow Academy will be a technology rich institute, and this position comes with the opportunity of being heavily involved in the design and implementation of a full school technology solution from scratch!
