I am interested in becoming a g suite certified administrator but couldn't easily see how you do it in the UK? and the cost for it?

Has anyone been through the process who can give an overview of what it entails? Is it just an online test etc

Cheers

Yes it is an online exam. I've done Google Certified Educator and it's the same system. There's lots of scenario based questions... they give you a dummy environment to login to and perform tasks on.

Quite good fun!

Yes as above, you are given a lot of stuff to read through and an area to Practice on, also worth looking at youtube vids also!

When you take your exam the PC/Laptop Must have a webcam. they take shots at random intervals to check it is the same person doing the exam.

defo worth it! I then moved on to Google Certified Educator level 1.

Hi, as @fiza mentioned I've completed the Google Certified Administrator course twice now (accreditation lasts for two years). The online course that Google provides at its training centre website prepares you well, but its important to get some experience of using it in your own environment. The exam is a three hour session that provides a number of scenarios that you are tasked with resolving on a dummy G-Suite domain. I've also completed the Educator Level 1 & 2 certifications which were useful for seeing how Google envisions educators using its platform. The cost for the Administrator course was 100 dollars, the L1 educator course is 10 dollars and the L2 educator course is 25 dollars. If you need any more info then feel free to get in touch.
