iBoss and "In line" solutions

Are there any users of iBoss out there? Just wondering how people have found it as a solution?

 

Also what are your views of a "proxy" solution vs a "in line" solution?

I use iboss here, every solution has its pros and cons / think the grass is greener. I switched to it a few years ago because the other solution was letting stuff through. Then found out it had issues too, just different ones. I don't recall what they were now. It does an overall good job and support was fairly responsive on most issues.

I think it is #1 in my region.

 

I like inline solutions, no messing with proxy settings, it just works for any device connected to the network.

We use iBoss as well, in-line. As ADMaster said its a much more simple approach versus proxy'ing traffic.

Overall I've been pleased with iBoss. Early 2016 we had some issues with SSL Decryption, but it was incredibly stable this past school year.

Support has always been responsive and I've been very pleased with their Chromebook filtering.

I especially love being able to dump my logs to SPLUNK.

Over all its hard to beat the price point. Good bang for the buck.
