Hello

 

Does SIMS Lesson Monitor have the facility to question a teacher if they are sure they want to enter a N code if they select Yes, it will then notify the Attendance Manager to chase/investigate further?

 

If not, does anyone know of similar products available?

The attendance panel on the homepage can show absences for today if you click on the toggle option in the panel.

Lesson Monitor has a function called 'Deal With Unexplained Absences'. You click on that, select the group you want (whole school, year, etc) and the date range, and it will flag up all N marks entered (either for Sessions or Sessions And Lessons). You can then directly overwrite the N marks with the correct mark once known. It's nice and quick.
