How do I create a mandatory signature in outlook

We currently use a facility within Exchange to put a disclaimer and contact details at the bottom of every email sent out (externally). This does not contain html, or links, or pictures - because the email sent might be just text...and I'm not sure what would happen with HTML commands in that case...I suspect it would just make it look silly.

 

Anyhow....I have now been asked if its possible to create a kind of "mandatory" skeleton template - either with personal details pre-entered or that they must enter. Is this possible? Via GPO? ...or can you import something into Outlook?

You can use transport rules in exchange. You can then use ad attributes to put in your details. Eg job title and phone numbers.

There are some limitations to this. It doesn't apply properly to forward and replies as it puts its at the end of the conversation rather than the end of your most recent message. I used a produce called exclaimer when I used exchange. I still do actually- just their cloud version

it just works and the support is good too. what I do like is the support subscription is optional so you can buy it and then get upgrades for a year then you own the software. great if budgets are tight just take the hit for one year
