Free moodle content

Does anyone know where to get any? For secondary school btw.

 

 

We are just getting going on moodle (which im quite happy about) but we have no content atm, and unfortunatly the e-subjects website is undergoing an upgrade.

There are a number of "free" courses on the CLEO site. You would need to register and I am not sure what they would think about someone outside Cumbria and Lancashire using their courses - but you could try.

 

As far as e-subjects is concerned the owner, Dagza, does wander around these forums. Perhaps a PM to him might help.

After many conversations with wonderful educators dedicated to digital learning I think I stumbled on a missing piece of the pie. Since an amazing amount of content is being created and re-created for digital learning I thought it might be appropriate to facilitate a free exchange of Moodle courses to foster greater communication and sharing in the digital world.

They are hugely enormous courses though, seems to me -SCORM over 100MB- you'd have to have ftp access and long time before you timed out

Just created http://science.edumoot.com/ to put all the content I've created. The physics A-level page is being developed first. It's free for anyone to use and set up a user account, but I was thinking of charging if schools want to put my content on their own moodle. I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on that.
