Labels in Word

I have a word file from someone in the Admin department, all the labels display in word. They do not however display in Print Preview nor when paste special is used (Word Document Object selected) gets pasted into the new word file.

 

Any ideas?

This is interesting I've opened up the document on my PC and all that exists on it is the ones it showed up on the admin machine in print preview none of the others are there?

 

Possible Mail Merge error?

Ah HA - Admin staff use the Format button so you can see all formatting regardless is the text has been hidden or not!!!!!!

 

Used my program types into what came up as an empty box and the error message from the hated paperclip showed: "You are typing in a paragraph with hidden text. Word has displayed nonprinting characters so you can see where you are typing."!!!!!!

 

So Ctrl+A or Select All (Or Select the text you want to change) from the edit menu then click on the format menu then the font option, click on the Hidden Checkbox until no tick appears (Either Black or greyed out) and it fixes it!

 

How bloody annoying is that? Stupid Word!!!!

 

Must be a long day for me!!!!
