Hey,

Has any one ever made a website using visual studio before? Also could some one recommend some books on how to create a website in visual studio?

Thanks,

Liam

You'll have to abe a bit more specific - Visual Studio is just an IDE, not a language.

Using VS, you could write a site based on ASP .net in either VB or C#, or a PHP based website, a Java site, Ruby, Python etc. etc.

Alternatively, you could just use it as a fancy text editor for plain old HTML/CSS.

Which programming language(s) do you already know, which do you want to learn?

awesome, thanks, I've give it a look. At the minute I'm just using the batch script and VBS that I know and making front end GUI's in visual studio, and having the gui create the batch/vbs file and then run it with the different user inputs and such, and I know there must be a better more elegant way of doing things. I figured that toying around with visual studio and creating a website would be a good step in the right direction (Y)
