ITGURU Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 I have a laptop which was working fine on the Anniversary version of windows 10. I have updated it to the latest update (march 2017) but after a few minutes of use the laptop freezes - no disk activity, the mouse moves but keyboard doesnt respond. only way is to switch it off to crash it out and reboot, but then the same happens again. What could be causing this? I've also clean installed from the new updated release ISO with all the same drivers and still sticks. Any ideas?

cpjitservices Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 Can you boot it into Troubleshooting mode see if it freezes ? Hold shift whilst pressing restart. Try going into CMD and running SFC /scannow or DISM /cleanup-image /restorehealth
