RMUnify MIS Sync

Is anyone using this service? Does it do everything that you want it to or are there limitations to it? Just wondering how people have found it in practice.

 

We currently use the AD Sync tool which is great, however we are now looking to use MS Teams for Education (previously MS Classroom).

I am the RM Unify Product Manager. I can confirm that we will be supporting Microsoft Teams and SDS.

I found the naming limiting. It was always Mr J. Bloggs and you couldn't have it any other way, such as Mr Joe Bloggs.

When you say that RMUnify will be supporting Teams & SDS, do you mean that the RMUnify MIS sync tool currently doesn't support these products? I was of the understanding that by setting up MIS Sync, it will automatically create the Office 365 Groups necessary for use within Teams. Is this not the case?

Hi. You are right in your understanding of RM Unify creating groups in o365.

 

SDS however users a different dataset which we are in the process of developing an integration solution.
