johnwheatley Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 I have a strange problem with a Lenovo ix2-dl NAS Recently increased our network IP address range and gave the NAS a static address in the range. I can mount its share on a local PC using an IPv4 with the same static address within the same range. However, when I plug the NAS into a small switch so that I can connect to it through the network - cannot find the NAS. Cannot ping its address. Any clues?
johnwheatley Posted April 26, 2017 Author Posted April 26, 2017 Forget my last message. The network cable had somehow worked loose from the switch port. Connected fine now. Duh!
